KenGen in collaboration with the United Nations University (UNU) and Geothermal Training Program (GTP) will be hosting SDG Short course IV on Exploration and Development of Geothermal Resources at lake Bogoria and Naivasha in Kenya. The course is mainly aimed at young professionals from Eastern Africa and other African rift countries. Those targeted are individuals with Diploma or degree in chemistry, physics, geology (earth sciences), environmental science or engineering who are involved or have been actively involved in Geothermal energy research in their home country. Participation is by invitation only and will be limited to individuals below 35 years of age. To support the Sustainable Development Goal agenda 5, female individuals are encouraged to participate.
